Kinetics x Gravis x Oshman’s – Denim Bag Collection

Japanese retailers Kinetics and Oshman’s teamed up with Gravis for a pair of bag entitled Denim Bag Collection. The clean aesthetics of Gravis Battery backpack and Shuttle waist bag are clad in vivid indigo denim fabric. With repeated use, the denim fabric will wear out gradually, giving it a unique look to each item. Contrasting the blue body are the gold zippers, light brown stitching and leather reinforcements on the bottom panels. These bags will be sold exclusively at Kinetics and Oshman’s stores in Tokyo from early April. Pre-order can also be made on the Kinetics online shop right now.

Stussy x Lowe Alpine – Break Back Pack

Stussy have partnered with an established outdoor company Lowe Alpine to produce an exclusive version of their popular Break back pack. The capacity of the bag measures 23 liters, which is plenty for everyday use, and its lightweight nylon material makes it easy to carry around. Stussy logo is embroidered underneath the Lowe Alpine logo, indicating the collaboration in a subtle manner and the blue waterproof zip in the middle reflect the Stussy brand color. This bag is available at Stussy Japan Chapters and Web Chapter from Friday, March 23rd.

Dover Street Market Ginza – Store Sneak Preview

The six story high Dover Street Market Ginza has finally opened its doors today and we take you on a sneak preview of the store. A healthy amount of crowds gathered in anticipation to take a look at this new monument in Ginza. This is the first permanent Dover Street Market store in Japan, other than its online counter part inside ZOZOTOWN. All floors are packed with COMME des GARÇONS brands, however there are spaces allocated for high end brands such as Louis Vuitton, Maison Martin Margiela, and Rick Owens on the third floor, as well as casual brands such as A Bathing Ape, visvim, Supreme, and others filling up the second and fifth floors. In fact the store is already open and the collaborations promised on their holding page is becoming unveiled. The latest project to be showcased is the collaboration with COMME des GARÇONS and mastermind JAPAN, who have prepared a pair of their popular denim pants and three sets of t-shirts. All of the items are decorated by graphics utilizing the Dover Street Market logo and the highly recognizable mastermind JAPAN logo. Part of its Summer 2012 “Dune Buggy” collection, White Mountaineering presents this handsome suede blouson in a brown/beige colorway. Carrying a design motif vaguely reminiscent of a South American gaucho, the garment features a subtle geometric design interlaced with repeating horizontal brown stripes. The zip-front exterior is crafted from cotton and nylon with suede shoulders and sleeves, as well as suede trim detail throughout. Ribbed cotton cuffs and waist ensure a snug fit, while a stand-up collar and storm flap provide a bit of weather resistance. Diesel x DUCATI Monster

The partnership between Ducati and Diesel began in early 2011, when the Italian denim label announced a sponsorship agreement with the Ducati team in MotoGP. Their relationship has entered a new phase with the unveiling of the special edition “Monster Diesel” motorcycle, based on the Monster 1100 Evo, featuring a two-valve, 100-horsepower engine with wet clutch and ABS. Ducati’s standard trellis frame in black is complemented with “Diesel Brave Green” accents, while bright yellow front brake calipers are a throwback nod to Ducati’s racing heritage. Diesel-branded seat and new exhaust heat shields finish the look. Priced at $13,795, the Ducati Monster Diesel is scheduled to arrive at dealerships this summer. UNDFTD x PUMA Ballistic Collection

The ongoing collaboration between PUMA and UNDFTD on the iconic Clyde model has already seen two releases for 2012 (the Snakeskin Pack and Reflective Stripe Off Pack), and it looks like we’ve arrived at installment no. 3: the UNDFTD x Puma Ballistic Collection. Consisting of both high and low silhouettes, the kicks come in a variety of soft pastel hues, each style carrying a combination of ballistic nylon and suede at the upper. Nike Free 2012 Presentation – Nike Footscape Free “Sawtooth Pack” – Spring/Summer 2012

Mentioned at the start of this month, the Nike Footscape Free will be making its return for Spring/Summer 2012. Better known by its designation of “Sawtooth Pack”, a description for the jagged graphics found at its lateral and medial sides, the new edition also incorporated a perforated upper and Nike Free 5.0 outsole. Of course, the offset lacing, the model signature design, is still there. Comes in navy, red, and this off-white variant, the pack will be available around late April at some dealers and May for the rest. No official words on stateside release at this time but we’ll be sure to let you know once these are available.
