Deluxe x THE BLACK SENSE MARKET – 2012 Collection Posted: 16 Mar 2012 09:30 PM PDT Our favorite street tailor, the Japanese label Deluxe, presents a solid co-branded collection in conjunction with the Black Sense Market. The pieces consist of the Memories shirt, Gallop shorts, Tropicana hat and Bandits belt. The shirt has a trim silhouette and an all cotton fabrication finished with a subtle striped texture, plus button-down collar, taped gussets and the elegiac phrase “Sun-Washed Memories” embroidered in tonal script across the back shoulders. The Gallop shorts are crafted from cotton chambray and feature a tailored waistband, cuffed legs and discreet branding above the right hip pocket. The range is completed with the woven Tropicana hat with rayon ribbon, along with the studded Bandits belt made from thick bridle leather. All items are in stock now at Black Sense Market’s online store.

Posted: 16 Mar 2012 08:30 PM PDT We know that Nigo, the former mastermind behind the Bathing Ape empire, now spends his time shepherding his new vintage-inspired label Human Made, but let’s not forget that the streetwear pioneer is also a restaurateur. He owns the Curry Up restaurant in Harajuku, a sleekly designed eatery that features retro-chic good looks — courtesy of Masamichi Katayama of Wonderwall, the same firm that created the BAPE stores — to go along with the tangy good eats. Of course Nigo’s first love is fashion, so it’s no surprise he's created an apparel collection for Curry Up. Made up of a grey crewneck sweatshirt and classic yellow tee, both items are emblazoned with the restaurant’s throwback logo across the front. They’re available at Cold Coffee, Human Made’s online store.

MIHARAYASUHIRO x THE BLACK SENSE MARKET – 2012 Collection Posted: 16 Mar 2012 08:00 PM PDT While Mihara Yasuhiro made his bones in the world of footwear, developing his first line of shoes in 1994 while enrolled at Tama Art University, the designer is now a force to be reckoned with in the menswear firmament. His signature style emphasizes proportion and drape, highlighted by this loose-fitting plaid gown coat. Part of Miharayasuhiro’s collaboration with the Black Sense Market, the garment is constructed from 100% rayon and features three-button closure, besom pockets and button hook straps to maintain rolled up sleeves. A similar plaid pattern is used on an accompanying western shirt, equipped with snap buttons, flap pockets and western yokes at the front and back. Both pieces are available now at the Black Sense Market’s online store.

Nike Zoom Kobe VII – Elite Collection Posted: 16 Mar 2012 06:30 PM PDT Nike Basketball’s Elite Series of footwear is designed for the rigors of the NBA’s second season, aka the playoffs, where every man on the roster is expected to leave all he has on the court. Having previously showcased the Nike Zoom Hyperdunk Elite, we now turn our attention to the elevated edition of the Nike Zoom Kobe VII, available in white or black “home” and “away” colors. To help keep Kobe’s eyes on the prize — not that the hyper-focused veteran needs any additional motivation — the shoes carry a gold Swoosh as an elegant reminder of the championship trophy. Premium upgrades include carbon fiber mid-foot shank and heel counter, plus Nike Pro Combat-inspired collar protection, providing flexible support and a superior fit. A Flywire-reinforced upper and non-slip sock liner with anatomical fit round out the details. Click through for detailed images, and look for the kicks to land in stores on April 28th.

BUGATTI 16C Galibier Super Sedan Concept | By Dejan Hristov Posted: 16 Mar 2012 05:30 PM PDT Little is known about the upcoming Bugatti Galibier super sedan, the vehicle Bugatti president Wolfgang Durheimer boasted would become the undisputed leader in the luxury car segment. Featuring a massive 8.0-liter sixteen-cylinder engine, it debuted in 2010 as the 16C Galibier Concept and was eventually slated for a late 2012 release. That target has since been pushed back to 2012 at the earliest. While we wait for further news out of Bugatti HQ, Macedonian graphic designer Dejan Hristov supplied WCF with renderings of his proposal for the highly anticipated sedan. His innovations include concealed headlights, gullwing-style doors that obviate the need for a B pillar, and a rear spoiler that also doubles as the rear windshield cover. See more of his renderings in the gallery below.

David Shrigley x Stussy Guest Artist Series – Capsule Collection Posted: 16 Mar 2012 03:30 PM PDT David Shrigley is the latest subject of Stussy’s guest artist series. The Glasgow-based artist says he’s been drawing all his life, but never thought one could make could actually make a living as an artist, a belief he carried even while enrolled at the Glasgow School of Art. Though best known for his wry doodle-like drawings, Shrigley’s works span various media, including sculpture, photography, animation and music. He’s been the subject of numerous exhibitions, culminating with a retrospective at London’s Hayward Gallery, running now until May 2012. The prolific artist has also published several books and produced animation for music videos as well as art for album covers. For Stussy, he’s created four t-shirt designs, each adorned with Shrigley’s deadpan, crudely drawn illustrations. They’re in stock now at Stussy chapter stores and online. See them in the gallery below, as well as a video interview with the soft-spoken artist.
