| Chrome Presents: The Grime “Shredwell 2″ Teaser | Video Posted: 29 Mar 2012 06:00 AM PDT When it comes to fixed gear freestyle, there is one crew that stands out among many. The Grime crew is one of the oldest teams who consistently push the boundaries of the relatively new sport. One of the founding members, Mike T. Schmitt is also sponsored by Chrome and they have gotten together to produce a little teaser video for their upcoming video titled Shredwell 2. Filmed by Colby Elrick and Matt Reyes, the shooting took them around spots all over Los Angeles. Whether it is big gaps, long handrails, big stairs, or high ledges, they shred them hard and you can see the mayhem in the teaser below.

| Red Bull – Mini Drome London Event Recap | Video Posted: 29 Mar 2012 05:00 AM PDT One of the interesting events hosted by the energy drink giant Red Bull is their Mini Drome competition. The event is held in many countries and it is a two-rider race on miniature sized velodrome track. Even though it may look easy, going round in circles at high speeds is challenging for any rider. London have already held this event numerous times, only to see it back again recently. The venue in Bethnal Green was packed with over a thousand people, who was at hand to see the competition on the world’s smallest velodrome. Speed and focus is the key to winning this race and Red Bull UK made a short edit summarizing the whole event. Click after the jump to see who took the 1st place.

The two names have signed a multi-year, worldwide licensing agreement, in which Movado will design, create and market a collection of timepieces under the Ferrari banner. Efraim Grinberg, Chairman and CEO of Movado Group, Inc., says his company’s design group will take inspiration from Ferrari road cars as well as Ferrari Formula 1 race cars. The collection is scheduled to debut next year at the Watch & Jewelry Fair in Basel, Switzerland, with the watches landing at Ferrari stores and online shortly thereafter. Starting this Sunday, April 1st, Nike‘s safari print will finally become a design option on NIKEiD. As enduring as the cement or tennis ball options, if not more, the safari have long been the one pattern to break traditional footwear design boundaries, starting with the celebrated Nike Air Safari back in 1987. And because of its overwhelming popularity and Air Force 1′s 30th anniversary this year, a limited run of the AF1 iD High and Low will be offer for the safari design option. Following up on January’s “BBerry” style that took its design cues from Blackberry phones, part 2 of the series takes the form of the Reebok Twilight Zone Pump “N-Droid,” featuring a silvery metallic finish that purports to mimic a Droid phone. The grid pattern along the tongue and vamp of the shoe echoes the appearance of a circuit board, while ERS tubes on each heel represents the “answer” and “end call” buttons on the phone. | Horror Vacui by Federico Chiesa Posted: 28 Mar 2012 11:00 PM PDT Italian photographer Federico Chiesa has created an interesting series of images that examines what happens to iconic movie villains from the ’70s and ’80s long after the credits have rolled. The collection, entitled “Horror Vacui” (latin for “fear of empty space”), depicts the characters in the twilight of their years, and time has not been kind. There’s Darth Vader in an easy chair underneath a blanket with Tie Fighter-adorned hot water bottle, staring forlornly at the TV; Michael Myers from Halloween, who isn’t nearly as menacing using a walker; the Grady twins from The Shining, presumably still searching for someone to play with them; Jason Voorhees down and out on skid row; and Freddy Krueger alone with a bottle of wine and pack of smokes.
