ZEVS x W Hotel Paris – Invisible Installation Posted: 13 Apr 2012 04:00 AM PDT A brand new W Hotel just opened its doors in the Opéra district of Paris. Several European artists were invited to create original artworks to decorate the interior of the boutique hotel. Among the artists was French artist ZEVS, who conceptualized this slightly eerie Invisible Installation. Guests who check into Suite 112 may not notice anything special about the room, until the UV light is switched on. Liquidated Louis Vuitton logos appear from the plain walls and drips can be seen on the eyes of portraits. Next you decide to stay at the W Paris Opéra, be sure to request Suite 112 and enjoy the interactive installation. via: Cool Hunting W Paris Opéra

Nike Air Woven Euro 2012 – White/Blue-Red | Detailed Look Posted: 12 Apr 2012 11:00 PM PDT Here’s a detailed look at the White/Blue/Red colorway of the Nike Air Woven pack, commemorating this year’s UEFA Euro Football Championship. This particular style denotes the colors of France, one of the major competing nations in the landmark football tournament. The following high-res images highlight the intricately constructed upper on the shoe, interwoven at the “tongue” and heel with blue leather panels in royal blue. The absence of any lining or padding at the upper contributes to the deconstructed feel, while the molded contrast white midsole concealing the Nike Air sole unit provides a cushioned ride. The shoe is in stock at select Nike retailers like mita sneakers. Nike Air Woven mita sneakers

NOWNESS – Fiat 500 by Gucci | Film by Chris Sweeney Posted: 12 Apr 2012 09:00 PM PDT A tongue-in-cheek video directed by Chris Sweeney depicts the series of ingredients that go into the making of the Fiat 500 by Gucci. The special edition supermini, customized by Gucci’s creative director Frida Giannini, has components made from Gucci high heels, handbags and perfume bottles. Those items go on a conveyor belt and undergo shrink-wrapping to become a steering wheel, car exhaust and wheel rims, which become part of a life-sized model kit that will ultimately take the form of the Fiat 500 by Gucci. Director Sweeney likens the short film to an “extreme, austere fashion version of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.” Check it out following the click. via: NOWNESS
