| DC Shoes Presents Waiting for Lightning: Danny Way Documentary Posted: 17 Apr 2012 06:00 AM PDT DC Shoes gave us a glimpse into the new documentary of Danny Way when they compiled the Rediscover Dreams campaign. Jacob Rosenberg directed this powerful documentary, Waiting for Lightning, looking at the life of the legendary skateboarder. Though often overshadowed by his success, his childhood was less than ideal. Way overcame many obstacles physically and mentally to get to where he is today. The film is showing at various locations around the world and more information of the screening can be found on their website. Whether you are a fan of Way, fan of skateboarding, or just looking for an incredible story, this film should captivate your senses. Find out more about the film in the trailer after the jump.

| Rock Steady x PORTER – Holiday Tote Bag Collection Posted: 17 Apr 2012 05:00 AM PDT Japanese label, Rock Steady started out as a bar in Tokyo with the same name. It began selling novelty items through out its 9 year operation and when it closed its doors, the label kept going. Most of their items are made in conjunction with PORTER and these are their latest collaboration effort. The Holiday Tote Bag is available in three neutral colorways – black, gray, and cream – with each accented by a thick rope on top and black leather handles. Heavy canvas material is used for its body and it is large enough to pack things for a short holiday. ARKKABAN in Japan has these bags in their inventory right now.

| Coleman x BEAMS – Outdoor Furniture Collection Posted: 17 Apr 2012 04:00 AM PDT As the rain and the snow starts to fade away, it can only mean one thing. More outdoor activities in the coming months. We recently saw Coleman in Japan revamping their staple camping line to catch the attention of new customers, BEAMS have teamed up with Coleman to bring their version of outdoor furniture. The key concept for this collection is wood, and it is evidenced by the wooden prints on the foldable chairs and tables. These furniture are compact enough for traveling or they can be a permanent fixture in your backyard. BEAMS is currently accepting pre-order on their online shop and delivery is scheduled for early June.

| Nike Soccer – France National Team – 2012/2013 Home Kit Posted: 17 Apr 2012 12:00 AM PDT The French National Team has always approach the game of soccer somewhat differently, with the team’s tenacity drawn from individual player’s strong personality. In ways, the team’s new Home Kit bears some similarities. With tagline "Nos Differences Nous Unissent" ("Our Differences Unite Us") running on a thin red ribbon, the Home Kit celebrates not only France’s diversity but individualism as well. A part of the Nike Pro Combat System, players can easily customize their needs on the pitch simply by including the full range of peripherals like Nike Pro Combat Hypercool 2.0 top or Nike Pro Combat Hyperstrong shorts. Whereas the Away Kit was an reinterpretation of the mariniere, the new Home Kit is an alternative with tonal print in Meteor Blue with Pacific Blue stripes. On the sleeves, hexagon imprint with three separate facets in gold reflect the French Republic’s tricolour. An additional gold piping along the collar takes reference once again to French military uniform. Along with matching shorts, each kit is the product of 13 recycled plastic bottles. All to be field by the French National Team as the 2012 UEFA Euro Championships approaches.

Finally, that moment is now here in the form of adidas Originals White Space Project. Both a Spring 2012 marketing campaign and platform for self expression, adidas Originals asked influential young women from the creative field for their own definitions of individualism and originality. With assistance from Highsnobette and our friend Emily Chang of adidas, the first segment kicked off in New York City with fashion-forward personalities Coco + Breezy and musical sensation Yuna Zarai.
