| Stone Island – Luce Collection | Video Posted: 23 Apr 2012 05:00 AM PDT Stone Island takes a journey back to the time when the first commercially successful photographic process, the Daguerreotype, was invented to draw inspiration for the latest Luce collection. Though this is a modern reinterpretation of the old technique, where light becomes the source of catalyst to make the graphic appear on the garment. To put it simply, a special treatment is used on these t-shirts which reacts with external light rays. As this concept is not commonly used, Stone Island have produced a short video to explain the whole process in a visual manner. Take a look at the video and product shots after the jump.

| JAM HOME MADE – College Series Accessories Posted: 23 Apr 2012 04:00 AM PDT Jewellery and accessories brand JAM HOME MADE is one of the many Japanese brands who take inspiration from American preppy lifestyle and their affection towards college rings have resulted in this College Series accessories. All of the accessories are based on the standard college ring style and instead of graduation years incorporated on the bezel, repetition of numbers 0 and 1 are used. There are 12 rings and necklaces produced, corresponding to birth stones, and there are four versions of cuff links and neck tie pins available. Unfortunately, all of these pieces are scheduled for release around early July, so fans would need to wait a few more months for the release.

With the popularity of SLR, DSLR, and Micro 4/3 cameras, these straps are designed to attach easily to those gadgets. Quick release buckles are used on the middle of the strap, as well as on the loop cords on the ends, enabling rapid detachment from the camera. Durable nylon material is used for the strap body and they are available in red, black, and olive tones. BEAMS in Japan are carrying these items in their stores and through their online shop.

High quality construction can be expected from this Spanish made case and it’s design is similar to the rest of the line. Made from smooth and textured leather, their signature gold zippers wrap around the perimeter of the case. Inside, there is the iPad compartment on one side, while the other side features document compartments and card holders. New to this season is the eye catching blue version, alongside the classic black leather case.
