Celebrating their 100th issue since its inception recently, the monthly publication have staged an Otokono Kuromaturi, loosely translated as Men’s Black Festival. In order to reward its readers and supporters, THE BLACK SENSE MARKET partnered up with more brands to bring exclusive items on its online shop. Stussy x Ed Banger Records – Cool Cats Series

Stussy x Ed Banger Records   Cool Cats SeriesParisian musical creative force Ed Banger Records, masterminded by Pedro Winter a.k.a. Busy P, have teamed up with Stussy on a variety of garments. The collection is titled the Series, referencing to the greater Parisian creative movement Cool Cats, and it features the signature graphics drawn up by their resident graphic designer and illustrator SO-ME. Two versions of t-shirts and tank tops are produced in black or white bodies. Pastel colored screen print accents the garments and all of the pieces are in stock at select Stussy stores and on their online shop. Take a look at the full series after the jump.

Lamborghini   Aventador J | VideoThe jaw dropping design of the drop top Lamborghini Aventador J is nothing short of stunning, a slightly more attention seeking than the Gallardo LP 570-4 Superleggera we reported earlier. However, there was one very unfortunate fact about this vehicle, that there is only one in existence in the world. Well actually that does not matter for most of us, as we would not even be able to afford the exotic car in the first place. In knowing this truth, Lamborghini made a short video of the convertible roaring through on a heart pounding midnight run through narrow mountain roads. Although we may not be able to drive the cars ourselves, at least we can turn up the volume and pretend to drive it. Not only will it be the latest edition honoring the 30th anniversary of Nike‘s iconic basketball sneaker, the Air Force 1. The latest design option to be available on the NIKEiD customization program also adds a humanistic prospective by paying tribute to the storied U.S. Army‘s 10th Mountain Division. Specialized in fighting under less than ideal combat situations and the only division of its kind within the , men of the proved themselves in key battles from Desert Storm to the current campaign in Afghanistan. But the division really lived up to its motto of “Climb To Glory” while reclaiming the mountainous terrain of northern Italy from occupying German troops during World War II. This was also when , co-founder of Nike, served as a Major and with distinction.

References to the olive drab army fatigue, the 10th Mountain Division edition will offer Vintage Canvas and Rough Grain Leather as design options. Plus, already available options like gum rubber outsole, ankle strap in contrast colors, and exclusive dubrets. All set for launch tomorrow, May 1st, on NIKEiD and NikeStore.com online stores.

Nike Basketball Designer Apologized for Insensitive Twitter Comment on Derrick Roses Injury

In our ever interconnecting world and a 24/7/365 presence on the virtual-sphere, we’re all bound to make a mistake or two. It really all comes down to when. For Jason Petrie, the lead footwear designer at Nike Basketball and the architect behind LeBron James‘ signature line, that “when” was over the weekend. Not long after Chicago BullsDerrick Rose tore his ACL during Playoffs’ Game 1 against the Philadelphia 76ers and effectively ended his season for the year. Petrie made an offhanded remark on Rose’s choice to go with Nike’s arch-rival, adidas, on his personal Twitter account:

“You got one guy only getting stronger, and one guy breaking down before our very eyes. You chose poorly Pooh…#shouldasignedwithNIKE #GWS”

The statement quickly stirred up remarks from fans and Rose’s supporters. And while Petrie quickly tweeted an explanation that his comment was taken out of context, the damage was done. Yesterday, Petrie apologized again and tweeted

“Wow! Twitterverse I do apologize. It was really just tongue n cheek! Never meant any harm or disrespect!”

Still, the repercussion from Petrie continues. So much so that Nike stepped in and issued a statement on Petrie’s behalf

"As a brand that is passionate about sport, we recognize the intense level of play that every athlete has engaged in during this basketball season and respect the dedication it takes to compete. One of our basketball footwear designers posted comments online that we feel are inappropriate, and he has since apologized. We wish anyone who is injured a speedy recovery.”

Throughout this controversy though, might just have the last laugh. In December of last year, Rose signed a new contract with adidas worth $250 million over 10 years, one of the most lucrative endorsement deal ever… via: NYDailyNews
