Posted: 16 May 2012 11:00 AM PDT Celebrating their 100th Hurricane, G-Power has made this BMW M5 extra unique with some extra power under the hood. By installing an Alpha-N engine management unit, the powerplant now produces 830 PS while the torque stay the same at 800 Nm. If you missed our previous coverage of the G-Power BMW M5 Hurricane RR, then be sure to check out its specifications. G-Power has set new records with this BMW M5 by reaching 372 km/h or 231 mph which is approximately the same as a McLaren F1 supercar. Even though they made this 100th edition have some extra boost under the hood, unfortunately it did not make the car quicker off the line. The 0 to 100 km/h time was recorded at 4.3 seconds, while the sports car reached 200 km/h in 9.1 seconds. This is still an amazing feat to hold the world’s fastest sedan title, and we sure there will be more updates for the G-Power BMW M5 Hurricane RRs series in the future.
