D*Face x 14 Bike Co. x ESB – Utility Bicycle Posted: 03 May 2012 11:00 PM PDT The thirtysomething British street artist Dean Stockton — better known to his followers as D*Face — holds a special place in his heart for two-wheeled vehicles, “preferably motorized, preferably in need of love.” No, this specially made ESB utility bicycle meets neither of those criteria, but D*Face helped design this self-propelled two-wheeled vehicle himself, collaborating with Ted James, who hand-built the frame, and 14 Bike Co., who added gear hubs, brakes and a “hit list of parts.” One matte black paint job later — to match the black saddle, handlebar grips and crank — and the result is a throwback bicycle that’s utilitarian and sinister in equal measure. via: D*Face

Nike SB Dunk Low Premium Quickstrike – “Non-Entourage” | Available Soon Posted: 03 May 2012 10:30 PM PDT It has a plot line more like TV drama than a TV comedy. But finally, the on and off saga of Nike SB Dunk Low “Entourage” might be at its end soon. When Entourage, the popular HBO series, came to a close last year, a special Nike SB Dunk Low “Entourage” was made for friends, family, and crew who worked on the show. Though meant as a parting gift for a few, a persisting rumor stipulated that the edition would become a general release from Nike Skateboarding in the near future. Apparently, that “near future” is now as a long pair surfaces recently in Australia. On appearance, it is nearly identical to the Nike SB Dunk Low “Entourage,” sans the “Entourage” label on the tongue tag and sock-liner. The heel “Nike” logo is now in gold instead of white and designers swapped out the black outsole with a gum rubber one. While more readily available now, its still a “quickstrike” edition with only 2,500 pairs made, all supposed to arrive at select Nike Skateboarding retail doors sometime this month. In the meantime, there is no official designation for the new edition yet, so our friends at Sneaker News took the liberty to call it “Nontourage” while we went with “Non-Entourage” instead. See the differences between the two versions after the jump… via: N-SB Nike SB Dunk Low “Nontourage”

Nike Air Force 1 Deconstruct PRM Suede Pack Posted: 03 May 2012 10:00 PM PDT The Nike Air Force 1 Low Deconstruct PRM Suede Pack features a trio of styles in understated hues, with each shoe stripped of excess padding for a lightweight, comfortable fit. Two of the three colorways carry a tonal upper — in either navy or grey — with white laces, white midsole and gum rubber outsole. The third style has an upper dressed with a hairier suede in a Grain colorway, with tonal laces and full gum sole unit. All three have a leather lining and the typical Air Force 1 polyurethane midsole and concealed full-length Nike Air cushioning. The kicks are available now at Germany’s Afew. Afew Store

Makia Clothing x etnies – Footwear Collaboration Posted: 03 May 2012 09:00 PM PDT Helsinki-based fashion label Makia has partnered with etnies on a footwear collection comprising two distinct styles: the outdoor boot-inspired Waysayer and the low-profile Jameson 2 in two colorways. The kicks are finished in a black and white color palette, calling back to old photos and bleak Nordic winters, and equipped to keep the wearer warm and dry in the skatepark even in the harshest weather conditions. The Waysayer has a black leather upper with D-ring lacing, while the Jameson 2 features all suede construction in either a tonal black colorway or two-toned black and white style, each carrying an attractive houndstooth lining. Look for the collection to land at select retailers in June.

Posted: 03 May 2012 08:30 PM PDT Following up releases late last month from Loopwheeler, English brand CASH CA team up with their fellow countrymen at Liberty to create a pair of new Piping Polo’s for the Summer 2012 line-up. Created with classic Liberty flower patterns around the hem of the collar and across the shoulders, these heavy cotton polos come in your choice of navy blue or pure white. Three white buttons tighten up the collar while CASH CA and their home country are affixed to the inner label. A touch of red stitching on the yoke finish off the look. You can look for these polos at CASH CA retailers, including Heather Grey Wall’s online shop. © Freshness Mag, 2012. | Permalink | No comment | Visit us on Facebook |
