Brian Matanda – Timeless Capture Digital Camera System Posted: 16 May 2012 04:00 AM PDT
The Timeless Capture camera does not have a LCD display on it and the photos are only viewable via an accompanying viewer. Wireless connection enables the two devices to link with each other, and photos are visible when they are in close vicinity. There is a finite memory on the gadget as well, erasing old photos when the memory is full, thus adding more value to each photo taken with this camera.

KAWS “The Nature of Need” – Galerie Perrotin Hong Kong | Exhibition Recap Posted: 15 May 2012 11:30 PM PDT Photos by Travis K. Highlighted by its ever increase in importance, Hong Kong International Art Fair is set to open this Thursday, May 17th. To coincide with the multitude of festivities, exhibitions, and gallery openings, several notable artist will also take part, including Brian Donnelly, or better known as KAWS, at the newly established Galerie Perrotin Hong Kong. Titled The Nature of Need, the exhibition will be KAWS’ first solo exhibition in Asia. In addition, its the debut event for Galerie Perrotin Hong Kong, the Parisian gallery’s newest outpost. In person to celebrate this milestone for KAWS and Galerie Perrotin was Edison Chen and several other local celebrities . There were fellow artists as well, including a rare appearance by Takashi Murakami, who’s represented by the gallery too. Concentrating on KAWS’ latest paintings, the exhibit is a contrast between both the familiar and the unfamiliar. Dominating on one side is CHUM, the Michelin Man-inspired caricature. And while its been a staple at majority of KAWS’ shows in the past, the contrast silhouette, heighten by the cropped canvas’ contours brought about a hint of menacing stature. The same goes with several other works, including an expansive group of 50 vertical paintings, each at a domineering height of 7 feet by 1 foot in width. The overall ambience is one to challenge audience to go beyond the common perceptions of KAWS’ works. The Nature of Need by KAWS will be on view at Galerie Perrotin Hong Kong from now till June 30th. Galerie Perrotin Hong Kong Exhibition Dates: Now – June 30th, 2012 (Saturday)

Nigel Sylvester – Get Sylvester 3: Animal Bikes | Video by Harrison Boyce Posted: 15 May 2012 11:00 PM PDT Following his adventures in Barcelona, as well as a day-in-the-life look at his hometown of New York City, Nigel Sylvester focuses his attention on early sponsor Animal Bikes in the third episode of his “Get Sylvester” film series. The clip begins with Nigel paying a surprise visit to Animal headquarters, where Nigel shows off a new tattoo to company owner Ralph Sinisi. Nigel reflects on the impact the brand has had on the world of BMX, and marvels that the enterprise had its humble beginnings in Ralph’s parents’ garage. But Ralph pursued his vision that Animal would eventually go worldwide, just as Nigel doggedly chased his own dreams. Press play on the Harrison Boyce-directed video below.

The Amazing Spider-Man – 4 Minutes Super Preview | Video Posted: 15 May 2012 10:00 PM PDT Following its television premier Monday night, Sony Pictures has brought online a four-minute “super preview” of The Amazing Spider-Man. The extended clip is essentially the official trailer released nearly two weeks ago, preceded by 90 seconds of new footage in which Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man attempts to save cars that are being thrown off a crowded bridge by Spidey’s nemesis the Lizard. The scene ends with the web slinger saving a stranded boy mere seconds before he plunges into the East River, and for you fans eagerly anticipating the release of the film, the action-packed sequence should really get your adrenaline pumping. Unfortunately you’ll have to wait until July 3rd, when the film is scheduled to arrive in theaters. In the meantime, check out the video below.

BMW F 800 R Predator Custom | By VILNER Posted: 15 May 2012 09:36 PM PDT Lavishly appointed in carbon fiber and chrome, tuners at Bulgaria-base VILNER took up the challenges set by one wealthy Russian oligarch and transformed the BMW F 800 R into the VILNER Predator. The requests were plenty and came at fast and furious pace from the client, who has one of the most exclusive motorcycle collection in Bulgaria. For six months, three VILNER tuners worked on the project, which called for 17 components – 9 carbon fiber and 8 chromed, to be completely hand made. Coated completely in black, VILNER shorten the overall length and made the bike into a single-seater. Gone were the original headlights and in their places, bright bi-xenon with menacing red LED lights instead. VILNER even took turn signals from the BMW Z4 and incorporated into the design. Left untouched for the most part, VILNED added a custom exhaust to the 798-cubic four-cycle engine for it to pump out 87 horsepower still. That is more than enough to propel this bike to a maximum speed of 125 miles per hour. via: autoblog

Posted: 15 May 2012 09:00 PM PDT We typically associate Supra with its famously towering silhouettes (e.g., the Skytop, Skytop II, and Society, listed in order of altitude), but the brand is capable of sneaker styles on the other end of the spectrum. The low-profile Cuttler is a prime example, the latest colorway of which is finished in an appealing vintage orange hue. The tonal upper is constructed from a combination of canvas and suede, with contrast white laces and white rubber foxing around the vulcanized sole. Hits of blue on the foxing stripe, Supra logo heel tab and the interior of the tongue finish the look. The Supra Cuttler Vintage is in stock now at Supra retailers and online.
