Stussy x DIGOT 1 Year Anniversary T-Shirt Posted: 23 May 2012 06:00 AM PDT Known as the King of Diggin’, Japanese DJ, producer, rapper, and an all-round hip-hop legend Muro is celebrating the first year anniversary of his boutique, DIGOT. The name of the store combines the words dig and depot, therefore the store is filled with apparel, accessories, and goods sourced from around the world by Muro. Stussy was in charge of making their anniversary t-shirt, featuring shovels and cranes to translate the concept of digging. Two colorways, white and black, are available right now at DIGOT in Tokyo. MISSIONWORKSHOP – Arkiv Field Pack Posted: 23 May 2012 05:00 AM PDT San Francisco based label MISSIONWORKSHOP is finally unveiling bags equipped with their patent pending Arkiv System. The Field Pack we see here should be first of many, which to integrate the highly functional modular system. Weatherproof materials on the exterior of the bags make this item an all-rounder, for daily use and for traveling. The black vertical strips on the exterior of the bag are the Arkiv System, enabling attachment and detachment of extra compartments in a flash. Dover Street Market – HUMAN MADE Pop-Up Store Posted: 23 May 2012 04:00 AM PDT NIGO set up COLD COFFEE as the flagship store of HUMAN MADE in Tokyo, and the low-key store has been recreated in the basement of Dover Street Market in London. Inside the pop-up store, it mimics the shop fitting of COLD COFFEE, albeit a smaller version, by installing HUMAN MADE wooden crates, the familiar mannequin, and a large overhead banner in the space. A well-curated selection of products is on display – consisting of jackets, shirts, t-shirts, caps, pants, notepads, and stickers. Do drop by if you are in the neighborhood as the limited pop-up store is only open until the end of this month. Aston Martin – DBS Casino Royale | By ANDERSON GERMANY Posted: 23 May 2012 03:00 AM PDT As Aston Martin is getting ready for a big finale of the DBS by releasing the DBS Ultimate model, German tuning house ANDERSON GERMANY is launching their own version of the DBS, inspired by non other than James Bond himself. Using the DBS Platinum Grey Edition as its base, the DBS Casion Royale is fitted with a fine-tuned the ECU and exhaust system, giving it a mild increase in power from 510 horsepower to 564 horsepower. Its exterior is painted matte gray, contrasted by shiny gray parts throughout the body, complete with black 21-inch five-spoke wheels. Interior upgrades include carbon fiber accents, and leather upholstery with bronze stitching. adidas Originals Superstar – Americana Pack Posted: 23 May 2012 01:00 AM PDT adidas Originals will be rooting for Team USA’s pursue of Olympic gold this summer with its Americana Pack. Red, white, and blue proudly on display, the Americana Pack consists of three classic silhouettes, including the adidas Originals Superstar. In an arrangement of perforated leather and suede, each of the design is a rendition of the Stars and Stripes from the red suede appointment on white leather, a blue variation, or the simple light grey and white. All to feature a Stars and Stripes adidas trefoil emblem on the heel tab and set to be available at all adidas Originals retail location this coming month. Sneaker Con Chicago | Event Recap Posted: 22 May 2012 11:00 PM PDT Chicago came out in force for its first ever Sneaker Con last Saturday, making the event a rousing success for all involved. Over 40 vendors were in attendance, as well as event sponsors like adidas Originals, Leaders 1354 and New Era Chicago, all of whom displayed their latest goods to the packed house. Rare sneakers were bought, sold and traded, and in light of the venue it was no surprise that Air Jordans made a strong showing among the valuable kicks trading hands. You can bet there will be a return engagement in the Windy City scheduled for the fall, but in the meantime sneakerheads on the East Coast can look forward to Sneaker Con coming to New York on June 30th. Lomography – LomoKino MUBI Edition Posted: 22 May 2012 09:30 PM PDT Last year’s Festival de Cannes showcased the first cinematic experience with analogue film-making and since then, Mubi – a leader in online cinema and community for all those who love it – have teamed up with Lomography to produce the very first replica of the amazing LomoKino camera. This clone of the popular hand-crank analogue camera allows users to capture experimental Lomographic movies on 35mm film and is housed in a plain white case with a series of colorful dots across its back and finished with the signature of 2010 Palme D’Or winner Apichatpong Weerasethakul – the Thai independent film director, screenwriter, and film producer – who knows a thing or two about using this tool; he directed a movie entirely filmed using the LomoKino, and every Mubi edition camera comes with a scene from the film, Ashes.
