PORTER – Coppi Series Posted: 28 May 2012 06:00 AM PDT Inspired from the simple sacosh bags seen in road cycle racing, to carry snacks and drinks without getting off their bicycles, PORTER created the Coppi series with similar aesthetics. All of the bags feature a shoulder strap that span the width of the cotton/polyester bag, with a narrow opening on top. Although the three tote bag styles differ in size, their designs remain the same and are available in black, gray, green, navy, and camel tones. The last bag is their reinterpretation of the sacosh, maintaining the minimal and functional design. Check out your local PORTER dealers or their online shop to pick up any of the below bags. Jeff Skierka Designs – Mixtape Table Posted: 28 May 2012 03:00 AM PDT Seattle based product designer Jeff Skierka is somewhat obsessed with woodworking, though this is a good thing. Skierka runs Jeff Skierka Designs from his compact workshop, producing functional and innovative objects by hand. One of his prototype products that stood out was this Mixtape Table, a complete 12:1 scaled replica of the cassette tape from yesteryear. Those fortunate enough to remember the humble audio device will no doubt appreciate the attention to detail gone into this table. This particular prototype is made from reclaimed maple, walnut, and lucite materials. To top it off, this table is totally reversible, which means it can be flipped over from A side to B side. Inquire directly to Skierka for information on ordering this furniture.
