Carlsson Tuning Company Bought by Zhongsheng Group Holdings Ltd

Recent news in the car tuning world reports that Zhongsheng Group Holdings Ltd has acquired a 70 percent stake in Carlsson Autotechnik GmbH. The group runs several automotive dealerships in China and plans to use the Carlsson tuning program to make their cars stand out from the competition. The Zhongsheng chairman, Huang Yi said, “The problem is there are so many Mercedes, BMW and Audi cars in Shanghai and Beijing that those cars sometimes feel like mainstream cars – like driving a Camry in Los Angeles.”

The owners announced they have some new “aggressive plans” for the Carlsson tuning company, like manufacturing accessories for a number of brands. Some that were mentioned include Mercedes, Porsche, Lexus, Volvo, Toyota and Nissan. Pretty much all the cars that Zhongsheng sells in their dealerships.
