| LEGO – Mega Summer Concert Stage | By sssteinberg Posted: 31 May 2012 11:00 PM PDT We’ve showcased some incredible LEGO creations over the past couple of months, from a fully functional 1:8.5 scale version of a Land Rover Defender 110 to towering models of some of the world’s most recognizable buildings. Joining the pantheon of LEGO builds is this massive outdoor concert setup by sssteinberg. In addition to the massive scale, what impresses most is the attention to detail, including the lighting rig, control booth, functioning hatch doors and risers on the stage, plus an entire backstage area. The only thing missing is a concession stand selling 10-dollar water bottles. Get out your lighter and check out the rest of the pics below.

| Posted: 31 May 2012 07:00 PM PDT For Fall 2012, Vans OTW has performed some tweaks on the Cobern, the brand’s original boat shoe-sneaker hybrid. Versus the original Cobern, version 2.0 features a cleaned up design on the upper, featuring a deconstructed fit that retains the signature moc toe design and premium material treatment. Metal eyelets, stitched OTW tongue tag and heel loop complete the details. The colorways for fall comprise a tonal black style in suede and ballistic nylon; brown/blue in canvas and leather; white/antique in suede and leather; and black in grey wool and black leather. Look for the kicks to land in retailers in June.

| Volkswagen Beetle Fender Edition – Officially Unveiled Posted: 31 May 2012 06:00 PM PDT Here in the States, the practical application of Volkswagen‘s partnership with Fender translates into a premium sound system for the Jetta GLI. In Europe, the beneficiary of the high-end audio package is the Beetle. Accordingly, Volkswagen is set to debut a special Fender Edition Beetle at the Leipzig Auto Show. The vehicle is equipped with a 200-horsepower, 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, along with standard features that include 18-inch “Disc” aluminum wheels and bi-xenon headlamps. Deep Black Metallic paint, accented with chrome Fender emblems at the base of the A pillars, round out the exterior details. The cabin is fitted with a 400-watt Fender audio system with nine speakers, subwoofer and four deluxe tweeters, as well as a painted dash in a unique Sunburst tone reminiscent of the finished wood used on Fender electric guitars. The Beetle Fender Edition will make it to dealers’ showrooms in the U.S. sometime in the fall. via: Autoblog
