Marvel x Reebok Insta Pump Fury “Spider Man” Posted: 05 Jun 2012 12:00 AM PDT We’re following up last week’s profile of the upcoming Spider-Man x Reebok Insta Pump Fury release with a second close-up look at the webslinger’s pumped up kicks. The shoe has a bright red upper with royal blue accenting at the toe and heel, along with hits of black throughout. The Marvel superhero’s spider emblem adorns the pump, while a cartoon web covers the toe box (in marked contrast to the more realistically haphazard webbing that presumably appears on the production pairs). A Jack Kirby-esque Spider-Man illustration on the sockliner rounds out the details. Look for these special edition Reebok Insta Pump Furies — along with the kicks devoted to Captain America, Wolverine, Deadpool and Sabretooth — to drop at select retailers this summer. via: Ye-Wa

Nike Air Foamposite One – Black-Red-Gold Posted: 04 Jun 2012 11:00 PM PDT We present an early look at a pair of Nike Foamposites in a Black/Red-Metallic Gold colorway, featuring a gold-flecked upper that provides an added dose of stylistic flair to what would have otherwise been a very straightforward design scheme. Contrast red accents provide color at the tongue and heel, while a solid black acts as a sturdy anchor. One of the more interesting features of the shoe is what it doesn’t have: namely, a Penny Hardaway “1 Cent” logo, which is dropped in favor of a lone Swoosh. Stay tuned for release details, along with word of any modifications to the makeup of this sample pair. via: MarqueeSole

adidas Originals Consortium – “Your Story” Collection | Drop 2 Posted: 04 Jun 2012 10:00 PM PDT Whereas the very first collaborators were exclusively retailers, the reinvigorated adidas Consortium project made a different approach this time and decided to engage with the end users instead. Following Drop 1 Collection featuring five individuals – Kate Moross, Jim Thompson, Aloe Blacc, DJ MURO, and Qoute, the adidas Originals Consortium continues with its “Your Story” theme with another set of creative types in Drop 2. Each with various interests, goals, backgrounds, and etc… the second group talents include – Shaniqwa Jarvis, Viktor Tell (Happy Socks), Stefan Glerum, Kara Messina (Y’OH), and finally a special edition to commemorate the upcoming London 2012 Summer Olympic Games. And as before, adidas Originals “turned back time” and wiped clean each involved models. With these clean slates, like last season adidas Originals Consortium “Tabula Rasa” Collection, each of the designs comes to life through a “before” and “after” sequence against complementary backdrops. But the story does not end there. Instead, its just merely the beginning as more adidas Consortium to come in later seasons with the same creative twist.

Marvel x Reebok Night Sky Mid “Sabretooth” Posted: 04 Jun 2012 09:30 PM PDT The Wolverine-themed Pump Fury HLS of the Marvel x Reebok collection is complemented by a Night Sky Mid devoted to Logan’s arch nemesis, Sabretooth. Like the character on which it’s based, this sneaker boot hybrid carries a wild and woolly aesthetic, featuring a hairy suede orange base and sabretooth stripes on the brown leather heel. A plush fur lining and slashed logo tongue tag are nice beastly touches, while the custom sockliner provides an overt visual cue to the design inspiration of the shoe. Look for the Sabretooth Night Sky Mid to land at retailers this summer. via: Ye-Wa

Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex x Reebok Insta Pump Fury “Tachikoma” Posted: 04 Jun 2012 07:30 PM PDT The Reebok Insta Pump Fury provides a large canvas for creative collaborations. In addition to the Spider-Man inspired colorway we previewed last week, we now have a first look at a Tachikoma-styled silhouette using the spider-like walker from Japan’s Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex anime series. Reebok decided to wrap the outer shell in royal blue with grey and red accents sitting atop a pebble-textured midsole and black Ultra-lite outsole. Custom Stand Alone graphics wrap the insole with matching logos on the heel rounding out the look. Limited to 500 pairs, stayed tuned to act when release information drops. via: Fashionsnap

Halo 4 – Official Trailer 1 | Video Posted: 04 Jun 2012 06:30 PM PDT Kicking off the Microsoft Xbox conference at the E3 2012 video game trade show was the trailer for Halo 4. The latest installment of the hugely popular gaming franchise continues the exploits of Master Chief, who will face a brand new enemy on a mysterious world where the UNSC Infinity has crash landed. The live-action trailer shows the crew of the sprawling vessel attacked by a mysterious enemy, while an accompanying game play teaser gives us a glimpse into the challenges that face Master Chief in a strange and hostile environment. Covenant figures make a return, along with new creatures that Cortana identifies as neither Covenant nor organic. The first Halo game to not be produced by Bungie – Microsoft Studios’ 343 Industries handles the honors this time — Halo 4 is scheduled to land at retailers on November 6th. Check out the videos and screenshots below.
