Nike 1948 London Flyknit WorkshopsNike 1948 London will be hosting second installment of the Flyknit Workshops later this month in London. The upcoming workshop revolves around the theme of Lightness, concentrating on the art of filming street sports. Tutoring the five-day workshop are creatives and sports legends including Charlie Dark, Scratcha DVA, Grace Ladoja, Tyrone LeBon, and Trim Editing. Participation to the workshop is strictly by invitation only, and if you have not entered the second challenge, the deadline for submission is tonight, June 18, 5pm. This workshop will take place from Monday, June 25 at 1948 London in Shoreditch.

Jeff Koons Exhibition at Fondation Beyeler | Basel, Switzerland If you were lucky enough to be visiting the Art Basel in Switzerland last week, you would have definitely seen this fantastic exhibition by Jeff Koons at Fondation Beyeler. Here is a preview of the ongoing exhibition for those of us who were stuck behind the desk. The large-scale exhibition explores the three key series of works by the American artist – The New, Banality, and Celebration – representing the works produced over his successful career. Many of the artworks are no doubt familiar to fans of Koons, and the range of medium used include porcelain, wood, and high-gloss steel sculptures, as well as large format oil paintings. Do drop by next time you are in Switzerland, as the exhibition will be running until early September. via: designboom

Fans certainly got their money’s worth last night. Both visiting Oklahoma City Thunders and hosting Miami Heat were within just a point or two between each other for the most part till the last minute when Thunders’ offense fell apart. Now down two games to one, the Thunders and its captain, Kevin Durant, have to find a way to maintain pressure on James and company come Game 4 of NBA Finals later on this week. If they can do so, Durant will be wearing his first NBA Championship ring next NBA season, along with these – the new Nike Zoom KD V. A major revision to his past signature editions, the design of the Nike Zoom KD V looks to be more akin to those on Nike Hyperfuse and Hyperdunk. The overall cut is higher so is the over pronounced heel counter and for the first time, a Max Air cushion unit. But the most drastic alteration might be the oversized Adaptive Fit strap, or the lack of it. From the looks of these preliminary line sheet, Nike Zoom KD V might be available in 10 different colorways, though no official words on availability and release date at the moment.
