HUF – Summer 2012 Cap Collection

HUF Summer 2012 Cap CollectionOne of the popular collections from HUF is their cap range, and this season is filled with great designs. The Summer 2012 Cap Collection is made up of three snapback caps and seven volley caps. Instead of embroidery on the front panel, the snapback caps feature a metal H logo. The metallic gold emblem stands out against the black, burgundy, and woodland camouflage bodies. Neon colored volley caps are offered in neon green and neon orange tones that are available in a monotone or two-tone. Last but not the least, the Hawaiian themed volley caps completes this season’s cap collection, and all of the styles are available at the HUF online shop.

For this collection, the team searched everywhere for influences, taking elements from animal prints, tonal mudcloths and tie dyes, wide range of camouflage patterns, and Native American patterns. This lookbook was shot in Brooklyn, with the original textile backdrop adding an interesting effect to the whole composition. A fast paced online pop-up shop that changes every 24 hours. Fujiwara will introduce products that he finds interesting in shops and online auctions, with each product available for purchase within the 24-hour period. Expect a mix bag of products on fragment 24, from ordinary items to rare pieces, and some exclusive products.

Three major cities have been chosen for the launch of this new label, and they include Tokyo, Beijing, and Hong Kong. As evidenced in their Spring/Summer 2012 lookbook, their designs are a fusion of athletics, military, and preppy styles. Sideline critics, stadium hecklers, sports analysts, doubters and haters have all fallen silent tonight as LeBron James leads Miami Heat to the 2012 NBA Championship title. A quest nine years in the making, James had to finish in grand form with a triple-double and as the Finals’ Most Valuable Player. As chronicler of his career since his days as a young phenom, Nike and its Nike Basketball division created a TV spot to congratulate James’ success. Featuring a jeweler toiling away on a championship ring with a video montage of James’ basketball journey superimposed in the background, the ring was finally in completion last night along with a footnote that destiny is earned, not given.

Nike Sportswear‘s Olympic Pack commemorates the upcoming Summer Games through a trio of Dunk styles, made up of two highs and a low in tasteful basic hues. Up first is a Dunk High done up in tonal University Red and constructed from a combination of leather and ripstop nylon, topped with a woven “USA” tag on the tongue. The second High has a white upper dressed in a smooth leather base with tumbled leather overlay plus hits of black at the Swoosh, outsole and tongue tag. The lone low-cut silhouette features contrast red in the same areas against a white leather base. All three are available now in-store at Kith Manhattan.

With designs that truly mirror the South California lifestyle, UNDEFEATED tweaked line a bit to bring a sense of street fashion to the mix. Showcased earlier, the line encompasses two variations of style. One with mostly graphic t-shirts as staples, the other in reference to the surf culture in Hawaiian print shirts and bucket hats.
