Audi driver Markus Winkelhock e-tron gas stepping up to 375 horsepower and mileage reached only 19.5 kilometers in eight minutes nine seconds. Speed is less than a minute difference of all-time record holder Gumpert Apollo with a V8 engine with 690 horsepower. Audi R8-based electricity will make its debut at the Paris Motor Show in September, as quoted by Auto Express. The only record of just increasing the speed limit, allowing e-tron touched 155 mph and exceeds the speed limit was 124mph models. Even though the R8 e-tron acceleration can reach 0-62mph in 4.6 seconds and uses a rechargeable battery, lithium ion. The battery can last up to a distance of 130 miles. Only, Audi stresses that tested the car are not the standard model and modified for racing. The record was created after a few weeks ago Audi won the Le Mans 24-hour championships with Audi R8 e-tron quattro. It was the first victory for a hybrid vehicle in the endurance race. |
