| HUBLOT Ferrari 250 GTO Classic Fusion Watch Posted: 05 Jul 2012 07:55 PM PDT Considered to be the rarest if not the most beautiful Ferrari ever made, the legendary Ferrari 250 GTO is celebrating the model’s 50th anniversary with a truly historic event, a gathering of 24 owners and their GTOs at one location for the first time. With only 36 models made, the car broke various records since its introduction, including one as the most expensive car sold when American billionaire Craig McCaw brought one for $35 million dollars back in May. As the official timekeeper for Ferrari, watchmaker HUBLOT joined in the festivities as well with the creation of HUBLOT Ferrari 250 GTO Classic Fusion Watch. Presented on Tuesday, July 3rd, in front of 150 invited guests at Abbaye de Hautvillers, home of the famed Dom Pérignon Champagne, this special timepiece was made to mimic the famous form of the Ferrari 250 GTO. With a 45mm encasement machined out of titanium, HUBLOT then fitted with a skeletonized Tourbillion movement. In reference to the Ferrari 250 GTO’s wheel rim, HUBLOT designed a special barrel drum, which is visible at the 12 o’clock position. On the case-back. More 250 GTO references such as customized chassis number and the same barenia calfskin as the watch’s strap. Finally, each is in a Ferrari presentation case specifically created for this edition. Because of the exquisite craftsmanship that went into each timepiece, both HUBLOT and Ferrari will make the watch available only to owners of Ferrari 250 GTO.

| Levi’s x Nike SB Dunk Pro Low – 2nd Colorway | Preview Posted: 05 Jul 2012 05:37 PM PDT It turns out there are several other additional designs to the latest partnership between Levi’s and Nike SB. During a product preview at this week’s Bright trade show in Berlin, Nike and Levi’s showcased the 511 Skateboarding Collection as a whole plus this yet to be seen Nike SB Dunk Low. Unlike the all-black denim version that is out in stores now, this second colorway is made of dark navy corduroy as upper instead. Finished with a contrast white midsole, red outsole, and a black leather Swoosh with a yellow stitching, the color scheme is quite similar to the ones used in the Olympic Pack. Thus, leading to some sneaker heads to dub them as Levi’s x Nike SB Dunk Low “Olympic”. No words on the official designation yet but its likely this particular colorway will be available middle of this month. So stay tuned for more detailed information. via: Dunkbar

Once dominated by the premium brand MINI, which is part of the BMW portfolio, Fiat’s introduction of its fun and stylish 500 is slowly gnawing away MINI’s hold, particularly in dense urban areas like New York City and Los Angeles. To further its appeal, Fiat will start selling the Fiat 500L to its American patrons at the start of 2013. Set for a European launch later on this year, the Fiat 500L (“L” as in Large) is a 5-door sub-compact that comfortably seats 5 adults. Larger in every way than the Fiat 500, the 500L is actually 1.3-inch longer and 3.9-inch higher than its closest MINI counterpart, the MINI Countryman. Yet, the cost of ownership is drastically lower than that of a MINI. Fiat will be offering three different powerplants – a 104 horsepower 0.9-liter two-cylinder TwinAir Turbo, a 94 horsepower 1.4-liter engine, and a 84 horsepower 1.3-liter Turbo Diesel. In addition to the numerous dual-branded accessories offered by Italian coffee giant Lavazza, Fiat will also be introducing a crossover variant of the 500, aptly named the 500X, next year as well to round off the 500 collection

| Sneaker Freaker x Supra Skytop III “Goldenballs” Posted: 05 Jul 2012 01:30 PM PDT After doing their best to give us the latest in sneaker news and reviews for the past 10 years, Sneaker Freaker works with Supra to add their own flavor to the hi-top Skytop III silhouette to celebrate a decade in the biz. Wrapped in a sick new “Golden Ball” suede, the upper is finished with black trim and side fins and sit atop a speckled concrete patterned EVA midsole. Each pair are finished with a set of black wax laces, a pink top metal eyelet, and a commemorative anniversary insole. The only bad news about these very special edition kicks is that only a few dozen will be releasing to the guests at the duo’s party scheduled for later tonight in Berlin, Germany. The only Golden-colored lining to this story is that SF plans to give away a pair in the next week – stay tuned for more details and shots of their kicks from their soiree tonight as they drop.

Part hiking boot, part athletic sneaker, the Okwahn 2 is a specially designed silhouette that takes the mesh collar and sticky tread commonly seen on rugged footwear with the comfort, weight, and style of many of Nike’s go-fasters. Sitting atop a speckled Phylon midsole and a black rubber outsole, the upper itself is constructed of either a black or beige perforatted leather with either white or neon purple zig-zag eyelet straps, which ride up the side panel. Heel pulls and stabilizers above the heel finish off the remake. Featuring a tiki-pattern embroidered into the canvas upper with either tan or black leather piping that match the cotton laces, finished with off-white rubber foxing and finished with a thin hemp stitch around the base of the upper.
