Audi? BMW? Nope, just a strange 1993 Subaru Impreza WRX found on eBay

Strange 1993 Subaru Impreza on eBay

We firmly believe that the vast majority of cars only look good from certain angles, rather than every angle. In a similar vein, we believe that many cars look far better from the front than they do the rear and vice versa. Two of those cars just happen to be many previous generation Audi A4's as well as the recently retired BMW 520.

Whether you prefer the front of either to the rear, it doesn't really matter, but what does matter is the question of joining the two best angles of each together to create a superior looking car.

Well, we recently stumbled upon an interesting sale on eBay UK where a used 1993 Subaru Impreza WRX is being sold with an Impreza interior and custom wheels but most importantly, it's borrowed the rear-end from the BMW 520 and the front fascia from the Audi A4.

The result?

Interestingly enough, the end result is nowhere near as horrible as one may assume. The owner has managed to combine the two ends in such a way that this interesting Impreza actually looks quite impressive.

With 110,124 miles on the clock, the car has received four bids thus far with the highest bid currently being £4,000.00 (at the time of writing). Also included in the package is a "performance exhaust" and "Predator brakes" and the unnamed owner has promised that it's been "maintained to [a] high standard."

With just over five days left of the sale, any prospecting buyers better get a hurry-on as this truly is a unique one-off piece of machinery.

Next to these exclusive additions, the new Horizon game will also feature cars like the 2013 SRT Viper, the 2012 BMW M5, the Nissan Skyline GT-R R34, and the Ford GT, among many others.

Video: 2012 Tushek Renovatio T500 driven by Autocar

Slovenia has never had its very own true supercar, and despite Oliver Ashley's best efforts to create the K1 Attack Roadster for the small European nation a few years back, no such car existed until Aljosa Tushek from Tushek Supercars showed up.

Using the K1 Attack as a donor car of sorts, Tushek Supercars redesigned the car inside and out with the largest change being the upgrade to the engine. Where the K1 Attack featured a tiny 2.0-liter 4-cylinder Honda Civic Type R sourced engine producing 250hp, the recently launched Renovatio T500 packs the same 4.2 liter V8 engine as the Audi RS4 and therefore delivers 450hp at 7,900 rpm and 315lb-ft of torque at just 3,200 rpm.

Tipping the scales at just over 2,200 pounds, the T500 can hit 60 mph in just 3.7 seconds, up a top speed of 192 mph. In the latest Autocar test, they took this lightweight supercar for a spin to see just how good the car really is.

To our surprise, the result seems to be quite good considering this is the very first car produced by Tushek. Furthermore, the test vehicle was only a prototype, but if Tushek aims to turn the T500 into the world's greatest supercar, then it better be good straight from the get-go.

Sound interesting? Well, check out the video, but before you get out your checkbook, keep in mind that the T500 will cost over $450,000!
